Merv Sharkey, born in Townsville and after spending 10 years working in Canberra, returned here to raise three children. Married to Peta, and now with 6 grandchildren, I am retired after a number of years working in Commercial and Logistics management in the mining industry. Sadly, I also have recent lived experience.
