Sarah Clark

Sarah has more than six years of experience a variety of roles in the non-government community mental health sector. She is a senior policy and program officer with the Queensland Mental Health Commission, working across multiple portfolios including promotion, prevention and early intervention.

Her background engaging with people experiencing severe and complex mental health issues has helped her develop knowledge across the mental health, suicide prevention and AOD sectors and a deep appreciation of the value and importance of working with people with a lived experience.

Sarah previously worked as a mental health program coordinator at the Brisbane South Primary Health Network (PHN), where she managed contracts and program development in suicide prevention and psychological therapies.

She hopes to bring her knowledge in community mental health and community wellbeing to the Mentally Healthy City Townsville Steering Committee. Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology through Monash University.
